At Tabvuma Mental Health we work through a recovery-oriented lens therefore, do not place emphasis on diagnosis. We specialise in providing bespoke and evidence based support for the following mental health presentations (not an exhaustive list):
  • Challenges with mood or emotional states and self-esteem. Often diagnosed as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders.
  • Misinterpretations and distortions of environment stimuli such as hallucinations or delusions. Often diagnosed as a psychotic disorders.
  • Trauma stemming from childhood, systemic, espistemic and internalised racism, interpersonal conflict and other sources. Often diagnosed as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex PTSD
  • Challenges with impulse control, addictive tendencies, using substances more than intended and maintaining healthy relationships. Often diagnosed as personality disorders, substance use disorders
Informed by WISEET values, recovery, trauma informed and strength-based approaches, we collaboratively explore your mental, cultural, social, economical, spiritual and physical health needs in the first session. We then work together to determine the most suitable therapeutic approach to empower you to experience culturally safe and holistic mental wellness. At Tabvuma Mental Health, we believe everyone deserves access to mental health support that meets them where they are emotionally, culturally, and financially. That is why our therapy options are designed to be flexible, affordable and inclusive of your life circumstances. We make care accessible by:
  • Offering different cost brackets for those who are waged and unwaged
  • Delivering therapy virtually via phone or video, so you can access care wherever you are
  • Providing after-hours appointments, perfect for people balancing work, study, or family responsibilities
Our mental health care packages and other therapy pathways include options for self-guided learning, short check-ins, or ongoing therapy with a qualified, culturally responsive clinician. We aim to empower you to choose what feels right for you. You can access therapy through:
  • Subscription packages: flexible and affordable monthly options that blend self-help tools, wellbeing check-ins and therapy sessions
  • One-off therapy sessions or webchat check-ins which are ideal if you are not ready for a plan or prefer occasional support
  • Government-funded therapy for eligible South Western Sydney (SWS) residents
  • NDIS-funded therapy for self-managed and plan-managed participants seeking culturally responsive therapeutic support

Couples Counselling

Guidance for couples to improve communication and connection.

$250 per session

90-minute sessions.

NDIS Therapeutic Support

Therapy and psychosocial capacity-building for NDIS participants.

Self-managed and plan-managed supported. Service agreements provided.

Workshops

Psychoeducation and culturally responsive group programs for communities and organisations.

Bespoke event and group pricing available upon request.
