Meet the Tabvuma Mental Health team

Dr Tracy Tabvuma

Meet Dr Tracy Tabvuma. Tracy’s qualifications include: Doctor of Philosophy, Nursing, Master of Mental Health Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing. Tracy uses the following approaches: ACT, CBT, CFT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Problem-solving therapy, Recovery-oriented, Strength-based and Trauma-Informed. Tracy is a proud African-Australian / Black Therapist and Credentialed Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about empowering people who are often under-represented or misunderstood to fully experience culturally responsive therapy and subsequent mental wellness.

Takunda Zimbudzana

Meet Takunda Zimbudzana. His qualifications include: Master of Mental Health Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing. He uses the following approaches: CBT, DBT, Problem-solving therapy, Recovery-oriented, Strength-based and Trauma-Informed. Takunda is a proud Credentialed Mental Health Nurse. Drawing on both professional expertise and lived experience of neurodivergence and anxiety, Takunda brings a compassionate and strengths-based approach to supporting others on their wellness journeys.

Stephany Basia

Meet Stephany Basia. Her qualifications include Master of Counselling, Bachelor of Social Science (honours). Her approaches include: ACT, CBT, CFT, DBT and Psychodynamic Therapy. Steph is a holistic counsellor/psychotherapist, with an extensive experience in meditation and mindful living. She has an eclectic approach in my practice which includes somatic therapy. She is a self-parenting enthusiast, helping to guide those who choose to practice self-compassion and kindness.

Luniva Maharjan

Meet Luniva Maharjan. She is a Nepalese psychotherapist and mental health support worker based in Sydney, Australia. She brings a cross-cultural lens to her practice, drawing on over two years of experience supporting individuals across diverse backgrounds in both Nepal and Australia. With a strong foundation in counselling and psychotherapy, she integrates trauma-informed, person-centred, and solution-focused approaches to help clients navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges.
